Around Ranikhet

As per the, legend the Kumaoni Queen - Padmavati, was enchanted by this tiny hill paradise that she desired to stay here permanently. It's in her honour the town got the name, 'queen's land' . While no trace of the palace can be found today, but Ranikhet remains the same: captivating, abounding with flowers, trees and green meadows in the midst of heavenly Himalayan surroundings.

Chaubatia Orchards

Perched at an altitude of 6300 feet above sea level, and spread over sprawling 600 acres, Chaubatia is a treat for nature lovers. The gardens contain predominantly apple, peach, plum and apricot trees.

Mahavatar Babaji Cave
